P V Ramreddy Pg College

Our college is out in Ibrahimpatnam, which is a bit of a drive from the main parts of Hyderabad. Being a PG college, we deal with older students who are finishing up their postgraduate degrees. The atmosphere here is a bit more serious than a primary school, as everyone is focused on their exams and their future jobs. The building is a plain concrete structure with several floors of classrooms and some labs. We have a library that stays pretty quiet, except when there are big tests coming up. Ibrahimpatnam has changed a lot since we first started; there are more shops and houses nearby now. Many of our students commute here every day, so the entrance is always busy with people arriving in the morning. We don't have a lot of fancy amenities. There’s a canteen where people get their tea and snacks, and the offices are usually full of files and ledgers. The staff here are straightforward people who just want to get the teaching done. We don't spend money on big advertisements or glossy brochures. Most people find out about us through word of mouth or because they live in the Hyderabad area and need a local place for their PG studies. It’s a functional place, built for learning and not for show. We just keep the doors open and make sure the schedules are followed as best as we can every semester.
