Nandini Convent

Nandini Convent is situated at 10-3-314 in the Vidyanagar area of Karimnagar. We have been part of this neighborhood for quite some time now. It’s a residential area, so it’s usually a bit quieter than the main market parts of town, except for when school starts and ends. The building is a simple structure that fits right in with the other houses and shops around it. We have a few floors of classrooms where the kids spend most of their day. It’s a pretty standard routine here. We start with a morning assembly, then it’s straight into the lessons. The teachers have their own ways of doing things, often using the old blackboards and plenty of chalk. We don’t have much in the way of high-tech gadgets, but we have the books and the desks that the kids need. Sometimes the kids get a bit rowdy in the hallways, especially when the weather is nice and they want to be outside. We try to keep a bit of order, but it’s a school, so there is always some level of noise. The office handles the fees and the admissions, and there’s always someone coming in to ask a question. We just focus on the basics of reading, writing, and math. It is a local place for local families. We don’t try to be anything other than a neighborhood school where kids can learn their lessons in peace.
