If you go down Shivalayam Road in Markandeya Colony, you'll see Krishnaveni Vikas Jr College at 21-2-82/8. We’re right there in the heart of Godavarikhani. It’s a busy little area, and the college fits right in with the houses and shops around it. We’ve been around for a bit, helping the older students get through their intermediate years. The building is a bit older, but it serves its purpose well enough. We don't have fancy carpets or glass walls, just regular rooms with benches and boards. Most of our students walk or take the bus from nearby neighborhoods. We focus on the books and the exams because that’s what matters to the families here. There isn't much room for anything else. The staff stays busy with paperwork and making sure everyone is in their seats. It’s a very straightforward place. We don’t try to be something we’re not. It’s just a college where young people come to study so they can move on to the next thing in their lives. Sometimes we have tea together in the small office during the breaks. The routine stays the same for the most part. We handle the daily tasks and make sure the place stays open and functional. It’s honest work, and we like being part of the community in this colony. It is just a normal school day for us.
