Stella Mary'S College, Nagercoil

Stella Mary'S College is located in Aruthengavilai, which is part of Nagercoil. It’s way down in the southern part of the country. We have a nice spot here, and the college has been a fixture in the community for quite some time. The campus has a lot of character, with buildings that have aged over the decades. Nagercoil is a pretty green area, and we have some of that on our grounds too. Students come here for various degrees, and the place is always humming with people talking and moving between classes. We don't have a corporate vibe at all. It feels more like a community hub. The office staff are usually local people who have been here forever and know exactly how things work. Sometimes the registration process takes longer than it should because we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way. We don’t spend money on big ads or glossy magazines. We just let the work speak for itself. You’ll often see students sitting under the trees studying or just chatting during their lunch break. It’s a very grounded place. We deal with the usual stuff like monsoon rains and fixing up old classrooms. It’s not a polished, modern university, but it’s our college and it serves the people of Nagercoil well. We just keep things moving day by day as best as we can for everyone.
