Netaji Public School

Netaji Public School is located on Market Road in Marthandam, which is part of the Kanyakumari district. Being right on Market Road means we are in a very busy area with plenty of people moving around all day. The school is a public institution that caters to the local children from the town and the nearby villages. The building is an older style of construction and it has that classic school look with high ceilings and wide windows. Inside, you will find rows of old wooden desks and blackboards. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy tech, just the basics that are needed to teach the state curriculum. The teachers are locals who have been with us for a long time and they know the families in the community very well. Sometimes the noise from the market outside can be a bit loud, especially on the busy market days, but we just get used to it. The students come in early and stay until the afternoon, and then the whole place clears out. We have a small office where the paperwork and fees are handled, but it’s very informal. There are no polished brochures or marketing materials here. We just provide a place for kids to get an education without any unnecessary extras. It is a very honest and functional part of Marthandam that has been doing the same thing for many years.
