This center is located in Kanpur Cantt. It is a bit different from the crowded markets in the rest of the city. The Cantt area has more trees and a bit more space, which makes it a decent place for studying. We have several rooms where people sit and read for hours. It’s mostly books and stacks of paper everywhere you look. I spend my time making sure the hall is open on time and the chairs are lined up. We don’t go for big advertisements or flashy signs. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about the place from someone else. It’s a very quiet atmosphere inside, which is what you need when you are trying to focus on heavy subjects. We have a small corner for drinking water and a place to keep bags. The furniture is basic—just what you need for a long day of reading. Sometimes we have tea breaks where everyone just stands around outside for ten minutes to clear their heads. I grew up in Kanpur, and I like that we can provide a spot like this in the Cantt area. It’s not about being a big company; it’s about having a functional space where the work actually happens. We keep things simple and try to stay out of the way so the students can do what they need to do.
