Located at Mig 36 on Gujaini Road, right here in Ratanlal Nagar. We've been in this part of Kanpur for a while now. The Durga Mandir is just nearby, so it’s easy to find us if you’re coming from that way. Our space isn't huge, but it fits the students we have. Most afternoons, you’ll see kids hanging around outside before their sessions start. We have some wooden benches and a few whiteboards that have seen better days. The traffic on Gujaini Road can get a bit loud sometimes, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. It’s a busy spot. We just try to keep things quiet enough inside so everyone can focus on their books. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to open the windows to let a breeze in. It gets pretty warm in the summer months, but the fans do what they can. People in the neighborhood know us by name. We don't have fancy signs or anything like that. Just a small board at the front. We spend most of our time going over math problems or science notes. It’s a simple setup. We started this place because there were so many students around Ratanlal Nagar who needed a place to sit and study after school hours. It’s mostly just us and the books every day. We open up early and usually stay until the street lights come on. It’s a bit of a grind but it’s what we do for the neighborhood kids.
