Our place is at 75/7 in Gandhi Gram. If you know where Mahesh Tel Mill is, you’ll find us easily because we’re right near it. The smell of the mill is something you get used to after a few days. We have a small entrance that leads into the rooms where the classes happen. It’s a basic setup with some chairs and a few tables we’ve put together over the years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up the posters and charts just fine. Gandhi Gram is a crowded area, so there is always noise from the street, but it feels like home to us. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or air conditioning that works all the time. Just some ceiling fans and a lot of notebooks. Students come from all over this part of Kanpur, usually arriving on bicycles. We spend our mornings getting the rooms ready and clearing away the dust. It’s a simple life running a coaching center like this. We don’t do much advertising; people usually hear about us from their neighbors or friends. The mill nearby is a good landmark for anyone who gets lost. We’ve been here at 75/7 for a long time and we know the rhythms of the street pretty well. It’s just a place where people come to learn things and then go back to their lives. The door is usually open for anyone who wants to stop by.
