Ankur Commerce Classes

Ankur Commerce Classes is based in Kidwai Nagar. We are right near the Hanuman Mandir, which is a very easy landmark for anyone in Kanpur. If you can get to the temple, you’re basically at our doorstep. I’ve been teaching commerce subjects in this neighborhood for a long time now. The place isn’t anything fancy. It’s just a couple of rooms where we gather to go through accounts and economics. You can always hear the temple bells ringing throughout the day, which I find quite peaceful. My workspace is usually cluttered with calculators, ledger books, and piles of student assignments. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy reception area. If you call, I’m the one who answers. The students are mostly local kids who need a bit of extra help with their board exams. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs to reach us, but it’s good exercise, I guess. The paint on the walls is getting a bit old, but it doesn't bother anyone. We keep the atmosphere very casual and friendly. I like being part of the Kidwai Nagar community because everyone knows everyone else. We don’t use any marketing tricks to get people in. They come because they know we’ve been here for years and we just focus on the books. It’s an honest, local business and that’s the way I like to keep it. We are usually open from morning until late evening.
