We've been at 54/1 Raghu Nath Plaza for quite a while now. People know the spot near Nayaganj Chauraha, right by the Peepal Wali Kothi Building. It’s a busy area in Kanpur. Pankaj Chain & Jwellers is just a small place where we handle jewelry and chains. My father started things here and now we just keep it going. It’s not fancy. There are lots of shops around Nayaganj but we like our little corner. Most days it’s just us talking to neighbors or fixing something small. We don't have a big team or anything like that. Just a few of us working behind the counter. The building itself is pretty old, everyone calls it the Peepal Wali Kothi. It makes finding us easier if you’re coming from the main road. Sometimes the traffic gets bad outside the plaza, especially during the wedding season when everyone is out buying gifts. We spend a lot of time organizing the displays and making sure everything is in its place. It’s hard work keeping up with the day-to-day stuff. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign or heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We keep our doors open and try to be helpful when people ask questions about gold or silver. It’s a simple life here in Kanpur, just focusing on what’s in front of us at the shop every single morning and making sure things are done right for everyone who stops by. We enjoy being part of this market.
