Kanpur Plast Industries

We’re located over at C 30B in the Panki Industrial Area, Site I. Kanpur Plast Industries has been operating out of this unit for quite some time now. It’s a big space filled with plastic molding machines and stacks of raw pellets. The machines make a rhythmic thumping sound that you just get used to after a few hours. We produce all sorts of plastic items here. It’s a lot of monitoring the temperatures and making sure the molds are set right. Our team is local, mostly folks who live nearby. We usually have the radio playing in the background, though you can barely hear it over the equipment. There’s a small office space near the entrance where we keep the records. It’s mostly just metal desks and some old chairs. We drink tea twice a day, usually standing up near the loading dock. The area can get pretty dusty with all the trucks passing by on the main road. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that, just people who know how to run the machines. When an order comes in, we just get to work and stay until it’s packed and ready for shipping. It’s basic, honest work. We’ve had the same sign out front for years and it’s a bit faded now, but everyone knows where we are. We just try to keep the machines running and the customers satisfied with the parts we make.
