Mohani Tea Leaves (P) Ltd

We are located at B-36, Mohani House, which is in the Udyog Kunj area of Panki Site 5. This is a big industrial sector in Kanpur, so you’ll see a lot of factories and warehouses all around us. Mohani Tea Leaves (P) Ltd has been here for a good while. The building is pretty large because we need the space for storing and blending the tea. Every morning, the trucks arrive with sacks of leaves from various places. We have a routine of checking the quality and then starting the blending process. The whole area around the building smells like tea, which is actually quite nice compared to some of the other industrial smells around here. We aren't a high-tech startup with bean bags and free snacks. It's a traditional business. Most of the staff have been with us for years. We eat lunch together in the small canteen area. It's often humid in Panki, but we keep the storage areas dry to protect the product. We don't spend time on social media or making fancy videos. We just make sure the tea is packed right and sent out to the distributors on time. The gate is always open during business hours if you need to speak with someone. It’s a busy, dusty part of town, but it’s home for our business and we like it that way. We just focus on the daily tasks.
