Kumar Academy

Kumar Academy is situated at number 1, R K Nagar, right there on the main road in Kanpur. It’s a pretty central spot, so we get people coming from a few different directions. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing our thing and helping students get through their subjects. The place is functional. We’ve got benches and boards and some old cupboards full of books we’ve collected over the years. We aren't trying to look like a modern office; it’s more of a traditional study center. The main road is always buzzing, which gives the place some life, even if it’s a bit loud sometimes. We handle most things ourselves, from cleaning up the rooms to answering the phone. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we actually get to know the people who come in. We don’t have a big list of promises or anything like that. We just show up every day and do the work. If a student is struggling, we spend a bit more time with them. That’s just how we do things here. R K Nagar is a good place to be, and being on the main road means we see a lot of the city passing by our windows. Sometimes we have a quick chai break between the sessions to clear our heads. It's just a normal neighborhood school setup.
