If you’re ever around Panchwati Chowk in Ward No-15, you’ll likely see our place, Kiran Tea. We’re located right near the Vijya Hotel, which is a busy spot for travelers and locals alike. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. Most of the day, we are busy weighing tea and chatting with the folks who stop by on their way to or from the hotel. The chowk is always noisy with rickshaws and motorbikes, so it’s never exactly quiet here. We like it that way, though. It feels like we’re right in the middle of things. We don't have a big corporate strategy or a fancy website. We just sell tea to whoever needs it. The shelves are usually a bit cluttered, and we might not have the most modern setup, but we know where everything is. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the walls have some scuffs from moving boxes around over the years. We treat everyone who walks through the door the same, whether they want a small bag or a whole crate. Sometimes we run out of certain types of tea, and we have to tell people to come back next week, but that’s just how it goes. It’s a simple business run by people who live right here in the neighborhood. We don't try to be anything we aren't. There is always someone coming in to ask for directions or just to escape the sun for a minute.
