Dhruvs Cohing Center is right in the heart of Nayaganj at 55/85, Hanuman Gali. If you are looking for us, we are very close to Kumar Medical Store, which most people in the area know. Being in Hanuman Gali means it is always a bit crowded and loud outside, but that is just the character of this part of Kanpur. Our center is a bit old-fashioned. We have wooden benches that have been there for years and walls that could probably use a fresh coat of paint. But it’s a functional space where we get things done. We don't have any high-tech gadgets, just some boards and a lot of markers. We started this because we wanted to provide a place for students in the market area to study without having to travel too far. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we have some big fans going all the time. You can hear the sounds of the street while we work, but the students are used to it by now. We are just a small group of people trying to help out with school subjects. We don't have a professional manager or anything, we just handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the floors to teaching the lessons. It is a very local, down-to-earth kind of place. If you come by, you’ll likely find us drinking tea and going over some exam papers.
