Even though our name says Noida, we’re actually working out of Dabauli in Kanpur right now. Our pin code is 208022. It’s a bit confusing for some people, but it’s where Datawise Consultants is set up for the moment. The office is in a residential part of Uttar Pradesh. It’s a pretty simple building, nothing that stands out on the street. We do a lot of data work and consulting, which mostly means we spend our days looking at spreadsheets and talking to people on the phone. It’s not very exciting to look at, just desks and chairs and the constant sound of typing. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and chat during the afternoons. The team is small, so we all know what everyone else is doing. We don't have any big corporate policies that make things complicated for us. If there's a problem, we just talk it out and fix it ourselves. Kanpur is a busy place, and Dabauli has its own rhythm that we fit into. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit loud, but we’re used to it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to handle the data correctly and give people the information they need. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Most of us have been here for years, so it feels like a second home to the staff.
