Anamika Singh

Anamika Singh is the name on the door here at 16/77- A Civil Lines. We are situated on Civil Lines Road, which is actually one of the nicer parts of Kanpur compared to the crowded markets. Being near Green Park is a plus, especially when there is a match going on and you can hear the crowd cheering from a distance. The 208001 area has a lot of history to it. My office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space with some old furniture and a window that looks out onto the street. The trees outside give a little bit of shade, which is nice when the Kanpur sun is really beating down in May. I spend most of my time here answering calls or writing things down in my notebook. Sometimes the cat from next door wanders in and sits on the rug for a bit. I don't mind it, it makes the place feel a bit more like home. The walk to the main road isn't too long, so it's easy enough to grab a snack or run an errand during the lunch break. I try to keep things organized, but there is always a pile of mail that I haven't gotten around to sorting through yet. It’s just me doing my thing in this corner of the city. No big corporate rules, just getting the work done as it comes each day.
