If you go to Plot No-25/19 in the LIC Colony of Tagore Town, you will find us working away on our latest projects. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part, which helps when you are trying to proofread pages or check through data. We have been in this building for a while, and it has definitely started to feel like home for the staff. The rooms are filled with boxes of books and stacks of paper waiting to be bound. We don't have a lot of space for anything else, so we have to be careful where we walk. Some of us have been working here since we were much younger, so we know exactly where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to an outsider. We mostly just keep our heads down and focus on the printing and the shipping. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow lanes around the colony, which causes a bit of a headache. We don't spend money on fancy signs or expensive office chairs. We’d rather just make sure the books are printed clearly and the information is correct. It is a steady kind of work, nothing too exciting, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We take our tea together in the small kitchen area, and then it’s back to the stacks of paper to finish the day's orders.
