S S K L Inter College Kunwarpur Karnauli Chhibramau Kannauj

This college is over in Karnauli, which is a bit of a way out in the Kannauj district. It is an Inter College, so we have the older students here who are finishing up their school years. The location in Karnauli is pretty quiet compared to the bigger towns. The building is a decent size with enough rooms for all the different subjects we have to teach. People from Chhibramau and the surrounding villages know the place well. We don’t really have much in the way of extra stuff, just the classrooms and the basic furniture. The students arrive on their cycles or walk from the nearby areas. During the winter, it can get a little cold in the rooms, so everyone wraps up. In the hotter months, we just deal with the heat like everyone else does. We focus mostly on the syllabus and getting the students ready for their final board exams. That is the main goal every year. There is a small office where the records are kept and where the parents come to talk. It’s a very straightforward way of running things. We have a few trees in the area that give some shade during the afternoon. It is not a modern city college with glass walls, it is just a regular brick building that serves the local families. We have been part of this community for years and we just keep on with the daily teaching.
