Informatic Textiles

Our office is at A 30, Alpha Chamber, right in the middle of South Bazar. It’s a bustling spot to be in. Informatic Textiles is a bit of a mix of things. We have desks and computers, but we also have samples of cloth lying around everywhere. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be organized, or we’d lose everything. Alpha Chamber is an older building, and you can hear the market noise from the street below all day. People are always shouting or honking their horns. We have a small window that looks out over the rooftops, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the screen. We deal with the data side of textiles, but it’s still a very hands-on job. We get a lot of walk-ins, people looking for information or wanting to check on their orders. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere. We usually have the radio playing softly in the corner. The days go by pretty fast when you’re busy with invoices and inventory lists. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot of work to catch up on. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s an honest way to run a business in South Bazar. We just keep our heads down and get the tasks finished. It's not glamorous, but it is what we know how to do best.
