Hotel Monarch

We spend our days cleaning the rooms, taking care of the small restaurant area, and talking to the locals who drop by for a chat. It isn't a place with a swimming pool or a gym. It is just a solid building with decent beds and hot water when the boiler is working. We handle everything ourselves, from the front desk to the kitchen. Sometimes we have big groups coming in for a local wedding, and then the whole place gets very noisy and busy. Other days, it is just us and the sound of the wind through the hills. We like the pace of life here. It is a simple business and we treat our guests like neighbors who are just passing through. We do not use fancy advertisements; most people find us just by driving past the building. It is a good spot to rest.
