Himalayan Tracks

Himalayan Tracks is located inside Hotel Gk Confier on Civil Line Road in Dharamshala. We are right near the Edu Board office, so it is a fairly central location that is easy for people to find. Our office is a small room where we keep all our trekking gear and maps. It can get a bit messy when we are preparing for a big group to head out into the mountains. We spend a lot of time talking to guides and checking on the trail conditions. The weather in the Himalayas changes fast, so we have to stay updated. We have been working out of this hotel for a good while now. It is a practical setup because travelers are already staying here. We do not have a big corporate staff, just a few of us who really enjoy being outdoors. You will often find us drinking coffee and looking over itineraries with our guests. We do not go for flashy advertising or polished brochures. Most of our work comes from people who have heard about us through other trekkers. It is a busy life, especially during the climbing seasons, but we enjoy the pace. If you are in Dharamshala and want to head up into the hills, you can just stop by the hotel and look for our sign. We are usually around during the day, making sure all the logistics are sorted for the next trip out.
