If you are looking for us, we are right near Sheela Chowk in Dharamshala. It’s a handy spot because we are close to Club Mahindra, so a lot of people stop by when they are staying around there. We’ve been running Deva Travels for a while now, mostly helping folks get from one place to another in these hills. The roads here can be a bit tricky if you aren't used to them, especially during the monsoon or when the winter fog rolls in. We have a few cars and drivers who know the shortcuts and the safe ways around. It’s not a big corporate office or anything, just a small place where we handle bookings and keep our keys on the rack. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it is quiet enough to have a long tea break outside. We talk to a lot of tourists who want to see the sights, and we also help locals who need a ride to the airport or the station. Sheela Chowk is always busy with traffic, so there is always something to look at while we wait for the next job. We don’t promise anything fancy, just a reliable ride and someone who knows the way. It’s honest work and we like meeting the different people who pass through Dharamshala. Most of our business comes from word of mouth or people just walking in because they saw our sign while driving past the chowk toward their hotel.
