Our little office is right on Temple Road in Mcleod Ganj. We are situated next to One Two Cafe, which is a popular spot for people to grab a bite or a coffee. Earthlink Tours And Travels is where we spend our days helping visitors plan their time in the mountains. Temple Road is always full of life, with people heading toward the monastery or just browsing the little shops. We have a small space where we keep our brochures and an old computer for checking flight statuses or bus routes. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, especially when we have bags piled up for people who are waiting for their transport to arrive. We’ve been doing this for several years now. We know the drivers, the hotel owners, and the guys who run the trekking camps. It’s a small community here, so everyone knows everyone else. We don’t go in for big promises or fancy slogans. We just try to get the bookings right and make sure people don't get stranded somewhere. Some days the mountain air is clear and you can see for miles, and other days the clouds are so thick you can’t see the cafe next door. We like the variety of people we meet, coming from all over the world to see the Dalai Lama’s home. It’s honest, steady work and we are happy to be a part of the local scene on Temple Road while we help travelers get around.
