We’ve been set up here at No 6, Vivekanandar Street in Perungalathur for a while now. Chennai is a busy place, and being out in Perungalathur means dealing with the traffic every morning, especially if you’re coming from further in. Most of us here just get on with the tech work we have to do. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and looking at screens, but we keep things moving. The office itself isn't anything fancy, just a regular space where people show up and get their tasks done. Some days are busier than others, and the coffee machine is always getting a workout. We handle various technology projects, mostly helping other businesses with their software stuff. It’s practical work that requires focus. Lunchtime usually involves finding something local to eat at a nearby stall or just chatting in the break area about weekend plans. Sometimes the ceiling fans are a bit loud, but you get used to it after a while. The street outside can be a bit dusty when the weather is dry, and parking is always a bit of a puzzle. We don’t really do big speeches or anything like that. People come in, do their shift, and head home to their families. It’s a job like any other. Most of the staff are from around this part of Chennai, so everyone knows the local shortcuts and the best places for snacks. We try to keep the workflow steady so nobody gets too bogged down with one single thing. It’s just how we operate day to day in this corner of the city.
