A.S.S Modern Nursery And Primary School is located at number 24 on Loop Road in Kanchipuram. This is a primary school, so we deal with very young children most of the time. The building is not very big, but it fits our needs for the nursery and primary classes. Being on Loop Road means we are in a fairly accessible part of the town. The mornings are usually full of the sound of crying toddlers who do not want to leave their parents yet. But once they get inside and see their friends, they settle down. Our teachers have a lot of patience because working with small kids is not easy. We have colorful charts on the walls and small chairs for the little ones. The floor is easy to clean because spills happen all the time. We do not have a massive playground, just a small space for the children to stretch their legs. The office is right near the entrance so we can see who is coming and going. We keep track of the attendance and the small fees in big registers. It is a very local school where everyone speaks the same language and knows the neighbors. We do not have any high-tech gadgets in the rooms. It is just pencils, paper, and a lot of talking. We close up early in the afternoon once all the kids have been picked up by their families.
