Anandh Bricks

Anandh Bricks is situated at 286, Vellore Road, right on the corner where Voc Street meets Anna Nagar. It is a very busy intersection, so there is never a quiet moment. We have bricks stacked up along the side, and we are constantly moving them around to make room for more. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be careful with how we park the trucks. I spend most of my day outside on the street, talking to drivers and checking the quality of the loads coming in. It is hot work, especially in the summer months when the sun beats down on the pavement. We do not have a big fancy office, just a small corner with a table and a few stools. People from all over Anna Nagar come to us because they know where we are. We have been on Vellore Road for a long time, so we have seen the neighborhood change a lot. We do not do any big promotions. We just rely on being here every day and having stock ready. Sometimes the supply from the kilns is slow, and we have to tell people to wait a few days, which we do not like doing. But we are honest about it. It is just a local business run by people who live right here. We keep our heads down and just do the work as it comes.
