Aks Tools

Aks Tools is based at No 26, on Pillayar Koil 4th Street in Ekkaduthangal. It is a bit of a tucked-away spot, but we like it here. The street isn't very wide, so when a big truck comes by to pick up an order, things can get a little tight for a few minutes. We have been in this neighborhood for a long time. Our main thing is making tools. We don't have a giant factory, just a small workshop where we put in our hours every day. The machines we use are old but they still work just fine for what we need. We don't really bother with fancy computers or anything too high-tech if we can help it. It is mostly about having a steady hand and knowing how the metal behaves. Sometimes the rain gets a bit heavy and we have to make sure the roof doesn't leak on the equipment, but we manage. We aren't looking to become a huge corporation or anything like that. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure the tools we produce are useful for the people who buy them. Usually, we finish up around six and head home. It’s a regular job and we don't try to pretend it is anything fancy. People know where to find us if they need something made.
