Sangbar Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our place is at Dehangi Tinali. It’s right there in the Dehangi Dima Hasao area. We are technically in Cachar, Assam. The name on the papers is Sangbar Farmer Producer Company Limited. It sounds official but we are just a group of farmers. Dima Hasao is a beautiful part of the world, though the hills make transport a bit of a headache sometimes. We use the 788819 pin code for our mail. Most days you’ll find us around the Tinali area talking shop. We don’t have a fancy website or a secretary. We just handle the business ourselves. It’s mostly about getting the local produce sorted and sold. The rain here can be heavy, so we have to plan around that. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. Cachar is where we do most of our trading. It’s a lot of hard work and the days are long. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just grow things and try to sell them for a fair price. The community is small, so everyone knows the Sangbar name. If you’re passing through Dehangi, you’ll see us. We are just regular people trying to make the farm business work. It isn't always easy but we stay at it. There’s always something that needs fixing or a crop that needs checking. Life here is slow but the work is never really done.
