Saathikisaan International Producer Company Limited is based out of House Number 1 in Gulariya Khas. This is in the JP Nagar area, and Guru Bachan is the person who runs the show here. The name Saathikisaan means we are supposed to be friends to the farmers, and that is what we try to do every day. We aren't a big international firm despite the name; we are just local people from Gulariya Khas. Guru Bachan has lived here a long time and knows everyone. Our office is basically a house where we meet and talk about what the farmers need. It might be seeds, it might be help with selling the harvest, or just advice on the weather. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a big staff. It is mostly just us and the local community working together. JP Nagar is a good place for this kind of work because there are so many people involved in agriculture here. We keep our records in simple books and don't bother with much of the corporate stuff you see in the cities. It is honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until night. If you are passing through Gulariya Khas, you can't really miss house number one. It’s where we do all our business and help out whoever stops by. It’s a quiet life in JP Nagar, but there is always something that needs to be done for the crops, whether it is sowing or harvesting.
