Nomami Farmer Producer Company Limited

Nomami Farmer Producer Company Limited is based at House No-36 in Ouguri. That’s Padma Konwar’s house, and it’s where we do all our business. We are located in the Bhurbandha block, which is a pretty quiet area for the most part. Most of us are just farmers who live nearby. We decided to start this company to help each other out with the farming stuff. It’s not a big corporate thing. We don't have suits or fancy meetings. We just sit around at Padma’s place and talk about what needs to be planted or harvested. The village of Ouguri is small, so we all know each other. Working together as a producer company makes sense for us. We spend a lot of time out in the sun, so when we come to the house, it’s usually just to handle the boring paperwork part of the job. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of and the crops are growing well. The P.O. is Bhurbandha, and that’s where we get our mail. It’s a very simple way of living. We don't try to sound like a big company because we aren't one. We are just a group of neighbors doing what we’ve always done, just a little more organized now. That’s really all there is to it. No fluff, just farming and talking about the next rain.
