Bwiswmuthi Farmer Producer Company Limited is run out of Phuli Ch Basumatary’s home in Village Barlawgaon. We are located in the Chirang and Manikpur area of Bongaigaon. Our group consists of farmers from this local area who wanted to find a better way to do business. We aren't some big corporation with an office in the city. We are just ordinary folks who spend our days working in the fields of Assam. We don't have any polished speeches or marketing tricks. We just know our land and we know what it takes to grow a crop. The office is basically just a spot where we can sit down and sort out our records. Barlawgaon is a place where people help each other out, and this company is just an extension of that. We don't have a reception area or anyone in a suit. If you visit us at 783390, you’ll just see a normal house where a bunch of farmers meet up to talk. It’s hard work, and there are plenty of days when things don’t go our way, like when the weather turns bad or the insects get into the crops. But we keep at it because it’s our livelihood. We aren't doing anything fancy; we’re just trying to get a fair price for our hard work and stick together.
