Ganesh Plastics

Ganesh Plastics is located at Plot No. 778 on the Rakanpur Santej Road in Kalol. It’s pretty easy to find because we are right near Darshan Hotel and across the road from Canara Bank. If you miss the bank, you’ve gone too far. Being in Gandhinagar district means it’s a bit away from the main city rush, but the road out here stays busy with commuters. Our workshop is full of plastic scrap and machines that make a lot of noise. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there are usually bits of plastic on the floor no matter how much we sweep. We started out small and just stayed at this same spot. The staff here are mostly local guys who have been with us for years. We don't have a big marketing plan or a polished image. We just produce what people order. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend half a day fixing them with grease up to our elbows. That’s just part of the business. The Darshan Hotel nearby is where we usually grab a quick snack or a tea when things get slow. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t care much for fancy titles or corporate talk. We just focus on the plastic molds and making sure the shipping truck is loaded properly. It’s hard work, but it keeps us going and pays the bills.
