Gurkul Pu College

Gurkul Pu College is located in the Jajee Building, right across from the Hanuman Temple on PDA Engineering College Road. It is a very active area of Kalaburgi. Since we are a PU college, the students are only with us for two years. That makes for a lot of energy and a bit of a rush to get everything done before they move on. The building is easy to spot because of the temple landmark. Inside, it’s a standard setup with classrooms and a small staff area. We don’t have any big corporate slogans or fancy brochures. People know us because we’ve been here for a while and we just do what needs to be done. The rooms are basic, but they are where the work happens. You can hear the sounds from the street all day long, but everyone is used to it by now. The staff here is small, so we all know each other's names and help out with whatever is needed, whether it's fixing a light or sorting out some exam papers. During the rainy season, the road can be a bit of a mess, but the students always find a way to get here. We aren't trying to be the biggest college in Karnataka. We just want to be a reliable place for the local kids to get their PU education before they head off to university. It keeps us busy and we like the routine of it all.
