Al- Sharay College

We are located on Msk Mill Road in Gulbarga. It’s a part of town that has that old industrial feel to it because of the mills nearby. The college building sits right there on the main road, so it’s easy to find but also picks up all the dust from the passing trucks. Gulbarga is known for being one of the hottest places in Karnataka, and our building definitely feels that heat in the summer months. We have thick walls to try and keep things cool, but it’s still a bit of a struggle. The floors are stone, and the hallways are wide. It's not a new place, so things look a bit worn out in spots. Students from around the MSK Mill area and other parts of the city come here. They usually arrive on bicycles or walk from the bus stop. Inside, it's pretty simple—just rows of desks and whiteboards. The office is always full of stacks of paper and old records. We don’t have much in terms of fancy tech, just the essentials for teaching. It’s a practical environment. You’ll see staff sitting outside in the shade during the cooler mornings before the sun gets too high. It’s a working-class area, and the college fits right into that. There is nothing fancy about it, just a place for students to spend their day and get through their courses without any extra fuss.
