Yrl High School

Yrl High School is situated right in the Samalkot Industrial Estate area of Samarlakota. It’s an interesting spot because there are always trucks and workers moving around nearby. You can hear the sounds of the industrial estate throughout the day, but we’ve all gotten used to it. The school itself is a sturdy building that’s seen a lot of students pass through its doors. We have a courtyard where everyone gathers in the morning before heading to their respective rooms. It’s quite a dusty area sometimes, especially when the wind picks up, so we’re always sweeping the floors. The rooms are basic, just desks and chairs and the teacher’s table at the front. We don’t have any of those fancy modern gadgets, just the standard tools for teaching. Parents who work in the surrounding factories often drop their kids off on their way to shift. It makes for a busy morning at the entrance. We try to keep things running on time, though the bells sometimes act up. At Samarlakota, things are pretty straightforward. We follow the lessons and make sure the students have what they need for their exams. There’s a small shop down the road where everyone gets their snacks after the final bell. It’s a working-class area and we’re just a regular part of it, providing a place for the local kids to study every day.
