Tagore Convent Aup School

We are over here on Pattabhi Street in Gandhi Nagar, right in Kakinada. It’s a busy spot but we’ve been at this address, 8-22-31, for quite a while now. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. You’ll see the gates open and the kids walking in from the neighborhood. We don’t have fancy stuff but the rooms are okay and we try to keep things tidy for everyone. The bells ring throughout the morning and you can hear the voices from the classrooms if you walk by on the street. It gets a bit loud when they are on break, but that's just how it is. We deal with a lot of paperwork and making sure the schedules stick. Some of the desks have been around for years and they have some scratches, but they work fine. We’ve got the regular subjects and the teachers just get on with the lessons. It’s not a huge place, just a local school doing what schools do in this part of town. We don't have a lot of help with the maintenance so we just do what we can ourselves. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, but we manage.
