Sri Victoria Aided Upper Primary School

If you walk down J N Road in Rajahmundry, you will find us at number 31-10-2. It is an old building, but it serves its purpose for the upper primary kids. We have been part of this community for a long time. Being an aided school means we work with what we have. It isn't always easy, but the teachers here are dedicated to the students. You will see a lot of activity in the mornings when the children arrive. The uniforms might be a bit worn out sometimes, but that is okay. We focus on the basics of reading and writing. The classrooms have wooden benches that have been here for years. They are sturdy. Rajahmundry is a busy city, and the road outside is always full of traffic and noise. Inside the gates, it is a bit calmer. We have a small playground where the kids play during lunch. It gets dusty in the summer. We don't have big advertisements or a marketing team. Most people find us because they live nearby or their older siblings came here. It is a local place for local families. We just try to keep the lights on and the books open. Some days are better than others, but we keep showing up every morning to open the doors for the neighborhood children. We don't have much, but we make sure the kids get their lessons every single day without fail.
