Ekara Urdu Primary School

People around Kakinada know us as Ekara Urdu Primary School. We are over at Valasapakala, specifically at Door No 5-132 on Road No 3. It is not a massive place, just a simple building where kids come to learn. Most of the teachers have been here for years, and we know most of the parents by name because they live just down the street. We focus on Urdu mostly because that is what our community speaks and wants the children to keep up with. Every morning starts with some noise as the younger ones arrive. The desks are a bit old and sometimes the fans make a clicking sound, but the rooms stay mostly cool. It gets busy during lunch when everyone opens their tiffin boxes. We spend a lot of time just making sure they understand the basics of reading and writing. It is a lot of work to keep things running every day, especially when the weather gets really hot in the afternoons. Sometimes we have to fix a leaky tap or paint a wall, but that is just part of having a school in this neighborhood. We don't have fancy gadgets or a giant playground, but there is enough space for the kids to run around a bit during the breaks. It’s just a normal place for local kids to start their education without too much fuss. We try to keep things simple and honest for everyone involved here in the 533005 area.
