Early Birds

Early Birds is located right on Tilak Road in Rajahmundry. It’s a well-known spot in the 533101 area. We’ve been operating from this building for quite some time. The name fits because we usually start very early in the morning when the sun is just coming up over the Godavari river. It’s a place for the younger ones mostly. The rooms are filled with drawings and the kind of mess you expect when children are around. Tilak Road is quite a central part of town, so there are always parents dropping off their kids on their way to work. We have a small staff of people who just like working with kids. It’s not a very formal environment. We have chairs and tables and some toys scattered about. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they are covered in student work anyway. We don’t use any complicated teaching methods; we just spend the day learning letters and numbers and playing outside when it isn’t too hot. Rajahmundry can get very humid, so we try to keep the fans running all day. People in the neighborhood know us as the place with the noise and the kids. We don't have any big corporate backing, just us running the place day by day. It’s a simple setup for the families living around Tilak Road who need a local spot for their children. It’s been this way for years and we don’t plan on changing it.
