Chandamama Play School

Chandamama Play School is located right on Vakalapudi Road, at Door No.2-204/8. If you live in this part of Kakinada, you probably pass by our gate every day without thinking much about it. It’s a simple place where we look after the little ones. The building isn't anything grand, just a regular structure with a bit of a yard where the kids can run around and get some fresh air. In the mornings, the street gets quite busy with parents dropping off their toddlers before heading to work. You can hear the noise of the children from the road sometimes. We have some colorful drawings on the walls inside to make it feel a bit more like a place for kids. It’s mostly local families from Vakalapudi who bring their children here. We don’t have any fancy technology or air-conditioned hallways. We just have fans that hum all day and plenty of toys that have seen better days. The teachers here are just normal people who like working with kids. We spend a lot of time singing songs and teaching them how to share their things. It gets quite messy with all the crayons and lunch boxes, but that’s just how a play school is supposed to be. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve seen many kids grow up and move on to the bigger schools in Kakinada. It’s a quiet, steady kind of life we have here.
