Little Buds Public School

Our school is right on Door No 10-155, on a street they even call Little Buds Street now in Indrapalem. Little Buds Public School has been a fixture in Kakinada for many years. It's a familiar sight for everyone living around here. The building is a simple concrete structure with a gate that we paint every couple of years. We have a small courtyard where the kids gather for their morning prayers before heading into the classrooms. The rooms themselves are basic, with benches that have been used by many generations of students. We don't have much in the way of high-end equipment, but we have enough books and maps to get the job done. The teachers are mostly women from the surrounding area who have been teaching here for a long time. They know the families and the history of the neighborhood. In the summer, the Kakinada humidity makes everyone a bit tired, but we keep going. We have a water tank out back and a small room for the principal that is always full of stacks of paper. It’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of place. We don't put out big ads or try to sound like a corporate chain. We are just a neighborhood school where kids come to learn their ABCs and math. It's honest work, and we just keep at it day after day. It is part of the daily life here in 533006.
