We’ve got our spot at Plot 41 in Bhanushali Nagar, right on Mundra Road. Jashraj Farmers is just a collective of us local growers. We started this because we needed a way to organize our farming work better than we were doing before. Mundra is a busy place, but we focus on what’s growing in the dirt. Our group handles the gathering of produce and trying to manage the supplies we all need throughout the year. It’s a straightforward operation. No one here wears a suit or anything. We are usually covered in dust or mud depending on the season and the work we're doing. Being on Mundra Road makes it easy for trucks to come and go, which helps when we have a lot of stuff to move around. We spend most of our time talking about the rain and the soil. It’s what we know. The office in Bhanushali Nagar is where the paperwork happens, but the real work is outside in the fields. We are just trying to get by and keep our farms healthy. It’s a group of neighbors, really. We’ve known each other for years. This company is just the formal way we help each other out with the business side of things. We don’t have any big secrets. We just plant, grow, and sell. It’s the same thing our fathers did, just now we have a name on the door and some papers to sign once in a while.
