Kisankarm Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Mundra. You can find us near the Bus Station Road in Gundala. The office is registered C/O Meraman Devraj. We are just a group of farmers from this area who wanted to do something together instead of everyone just struggling on their own. Mundra is a big place, but we keep our focus on the local fields and the people we know. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We mostly meet at the office to discuss seed prices or who has a tractor available for hire. Being near the bus station makes it easy for members from the outer villages to stop in when they are in town for errands. We don't have any corporate training or big-city ideas. We just know the land and we know each other. Meraman’s place is where we keep the records and handle the government filings, which is the boring part of the job. Most of us would rather be outside. But we know we have to do this to get better deals on what we buy and sell. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of patience. We are just trying to make things a little bit easier for the families in Gundala and the rest of Mundra. It’s a slow process, but we’re sticking with it. We just keep working.
