Carmel Convent School

Our school, Carmel Convent, is located in the Kashi Vishwanath Society area of Junagadh. It’s a nice part of the city, and the school has been a fixture here for a long time. People in Junagadh know where we are, so we don't really have to give directions too often. The building has that old, solid feel to it, and the hallways stay relatively cool even when it’s bright outside. We have a lot of history here, with generations of the same families coming through our doors. The teachers are a mix of older ones who have seen it all and younger ones just starting out. We don't have a lot of modern gadgets, but we have plenty of books and enough chalk to keep going. The atmosphere is generally quite calm, though it gets loud during the lunch hour when everyone is out in the common areas. We have a playground that sees a lot of use, and the kids are always busy with something. We don't go in for big speeches or polished presentations. We just open the gates every morning and get to work teaching the students. It’s a practical, straightforward place. Parents appreciate that they can come and talk to us without any fuss. We are just part of the local fabric of the society here, doing the same thing we have done for many years. It's a simple life for us here in the city.
