Sky Way School

Sky Way School is tucked away behind Baldev Nagar, right near Mata Ke Than on the 80 Fit Road in Jodhpur. It is a bit of a mouthful to explain the address to people who are not from around here, but locals know exactly where we are. We have been operating in this neighborhood for a good while. The area around 80 Fit Road has grown a lot, but we have stayed pretty much the same. We have a modest building where we host our classes every day. It is a lively spot, mostly because of the kids, but also because of the general bustle of Jodhpur. We do not have a lot of extra frills or expensive equipment. We mostly focus on having enough books and keeping the classrooms tidy for the students. The teachers are mostly people from the nearby blocks who walk or bike to work. It feels more like a community center than a formal institution sometimes. We deal with the typical things you would expect—leaky taps, dusty courtyards, and the occasional power cut. We do not spend time on big presentations or marketing. If a parent is looking for a school, they usually just walk in and ask us a few questions. We give them honest answers and show them around. It is a simple, hardworking school for the families who live on this side of the city.
