Sachiyay Arts & Crafts

Our shop is tucked away over at 3 Pwd Colony, right across from the Uit House. If you're heading down the road toward Hotel Taj Hari Mahal in Ratanada, you'll find us there. At Sachiyay Arts & Crafts, things are usually a bit messy because we’re always working on something. There’s paint, wood scraps, and fabric everywhere most of the time. We don’t really go for that polished look you see in big malls. It’s more of a working space where things actually get made. People stop by when they’re looking for something handmade or just want to see what’s on the benches this week. The neighborhood is fairly active, especially being so close to the main road, but inside it’s just us doing our thing. We spend a lot of time on the details, even if our hands stay dirty most of the day. It’s a small operation, just a few of us here. We handle the materials ourselves and try to make sure everything leaving the shop is solid and looks right. Some days we're busy packing orders, other days we’re just sketching out new ideas or cleaning up the tools. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s good work. Being in Ratanada feels right for us, it's a part of town that has a bit of everything going on. We just keep our heads down and focus on the crafts. If the door is open, someone is usually in the back working on a new project.
