Adroit Art is right opposite the main gate of the Police Line in Ratanada. It’s an interesting spot because there is always something happening outside with the police movements or people coming and going from the station. Our shop is a bit of a sanctuary from all that noise. Inside, it’s mostly quiet, filled with frames, canvases, and the smell of turpentine and paint. We spend our days working on different pieces or helping people figure out how to frame their pictures. It’s a messy job sometimes. There are wood shavings on the floor and paint stains on our clothes that never really come out. Ratanada is a good part of town, and being near the Police Line makes it very easy to find. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy gallery feel. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get made. Sometimes the dust from the road comes in when the door is open, but we just wipe it off and keep going. We have a small group of regular customers who drop by just to see what’s new or to talk about a project they have in mind. We like the slow pace of the work. It’s not about rushing or making a huge profit. It’s about getting the colors right and making sure the frame fits perfectly for whoever brought it in. We just enjoy the creative process every day.
