O Working As A Director Of €mak Innovationz” An Event Man

My office is at Akshay Deep, number 403, right in Sardarpura. Being in Jodhpur, it gets quite hot, but we’ve got the AC going most of the time. We are right opposite Navjeevan Hospital on 5th C Road. I’ve been running things here under the name Mak Innovationz for a bit now, focusing on event management. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists. When there’s a big event coming up, this small office gets really crowded with boxes and printouts. The hospital across the street is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Sardarpura is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside the window. We spend a lot of time coordinating with vendors and making sure the decorations or the lights are ready for whatever function is next. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we manage to get everything done in the end. Sometimes I think about moving to a bigger space, but this spot is convenient for everyone. People just drop by to discuss their family functions or some local event they are planning. We drink a lot of chai from the shop downstairs while we argue about schedules. It’s a local business, through and through. Nothing too fancy, just hard work and trying to make sure the events we handle go okay without too many hiccups or delays. It's mostly about staying on top of the phone calls.
