Laxmi Tent Udhyog

At Laxmi Tent Udhyog, we spend most of our time dealing with heavy canvas and big iron frames. We are based out of Jhalamand in the Sankar Nagar area, right along the Ring Road. It’s a good spot because we have enough room to move the big trucks in and out without getting stuck in city traffic. The Ring Road is always humming with the sound of trucks and cars going by at all hours. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a working yard where things get loaded and unloaded all day long. My clothes usually have a bit of dirt on them by lunch, but that’s just the nature of the tent business. We’ve been in Sankar Nagar for a while, and the neighbors all know what we do. When the wedding season starts, things get really hectic and we’re working from before sunrise until well after dark. It’s exhausting, but we’re used to it. I keep my records in a small office that gets a bit hot in the summer because the fan isn't very strong. We don't try to impress anyone with big words or shiny brochures. We just show up in Jhalamand every morning and get to work. It’s a lot of lifting and pulling, but it’s what keeps the lights on. We take things as they come and try to stay on top of the orders every week.
